WHAT’S YOUR BEEF? Our steaks are sourced from MacDonald Brothers Butchers in Pitlochry, a family run local butcher on the main street in Pitlochry. Sourcing Aberdeen Angus Scotch Beef for our Chef to create your perfect steak they have supplied the hotel for over 20 years. Also a member of The Scotch Beef Club and The Aberdeen Angus Cattle Society. MacDonald Brothers butcher is a traditional family owned butchers and has been in the family since 1928. Scottish Beef is bought directly from Perthshire farm, Rotmell in Dunkeld, specialising in Aberdeen Angus beef. The farm has been known to three generations of MacDonald Brothers Butchers. Scottish Lamb is sourced locally from local Highland Perthshire farms near Aberfeldy. The mince for our burgers are all made from recipes passed down three generations of MacDonald Butchers.
