Better than the average pub food that i've tasted, the chicken and haggis is a must although found the gravy a tad to salty for me but each to there own, the pub was very busy on a friday night all tables were used up but the two waiters that were seeing to us did there best to find us a table as soon as one came available, they had live music on that night they werent that bad at singing, would go back any time for a meal there.
Good place for lunch on the main street in Pitlochry. This is a big bar and has outdoor seating on the main road, which is good for people watching. We stopped for lunch during the week, and noticed they do a pie-and-pint deal for £7, which is good value for Pitlochry. The steak pie was delicious and overall I’d recommend it.
Great pub always busy and probably the best in the area.Has food although we only had drinks but a good atmosphere.Had entertainment at night and during the day you could sit ouside in the sun as there are tables and chairs on the front.
One of the best steak restaurants in town, we enjoyed a lovely meal, great atmosphere and finished off the evening by enjoying the must seen Noises Off at Pitlochry Theatre.
You will not be disappointed. Great food and great free nightly entertainment . Very friendly staff.
Great bar, terrific food and great atmosphere. Large screen TV's for live sports events
Really nice meal here, nice warm feel and it's not too expensive! At 11 the back of this turns into a mini nightclub, good for younger visitors
The McKay's is a restaurant and pub. A really good pub. I believe it is the best pub in Pitlochry because its extremely friendly and well-informed staff offers a huge variety of whiskys in a simple, lovely environment. There is a whisky menu - detailing the whisky on offer and the regions it comes from. As a single malt enthusiast - this is my most favorite pub to sample or revisit a wide range of whisky. The pub does serve other drinks than whisky - but why bother
Nice pub good food and drink reasonable priced. On the night we were there a fancy dress competition was held and was subject of a very good turnout. The atmosphere was great and ample seating and tables available. Reasonable selection of beeer, lager and spirts was on display. Well worth a visit if in Pitlochry
